About Frankie Lax
Frankie began his broadcast career in 1980 at Jackson's WJHR-FM 103.1 as a part-time announcer while still in high school. Over the following years he held on-air positions and
hosted shows on other area stations including WKIR-FM (that is currently a Forever Communications, Inc. station:Froggy 104.1), WTJS-AM 1390, WZDQ-FM 102, and WNBE-FM 93.1.
Presently Lax is President of Maxxguard Inc.,
a security company started by his late father, Franklin Lax. With accolades including being a certified trainer for private protective services by the State of Tennessee and the Department of Safety and Homeland Security.He's an elected constable, an NRA law enforcement firearm instructor, and a Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act (LEOSA) firearms instructor.
